Open Systems: advertising recovery after a ban — an enquiry flow for hidden doors
The brand had worked with us before, then parted ways, and in 2025 came back with a specific problem — the ad account was banned. We resolved the bans and relaunched advertising. In 9 months — 755 enquiries for an expensive niche product.

Open Systems — hidden doors, the premium interiors segment. The brand had worked with us before, then parted ways, and in the summer of 2025 came back with a specific problem: the ad account was banned, advertising was down — meaning the enquiry flow for an expensive, hard-to-find product had stopped entirely.
On top of the ban, the niche had its own challenge: most of the audience doesn't know what a hidden door is or why they would need one — so you can't simply «run ads to existing demand», you have to create the demand itself.
Relaunch advertising and build a steady flow
Resolve the ad account bans, relaunch advertising, and build a steady enquiry flow in a niche where the product itself has to be explained.
What we did and why
First we restored the infrastructure and protected against another ban
We set up a new business account on Meta and, in parallel, launched TikTok as a second channel. The logic is simple: if there's only one platform, any ban on it resets sales back to zero. Two independent channels aren't about «more reach» — they're insurance for advertising continuity: ads that stop = revenue lost.
Awareness and educational content — because the product is little known
Hidden doors are a niche product, and most of the audience doesn't know it: what it is, how it differs from an ordinary door, why you would pay more. We prioritised awareness content: showing the product in a finished interior, explaining the benefit and the aesthetics, building demand for the category — not just for one specific brand. Without this layer, ads would only reach the small share of people already searching.
Multi-channel: Meta for enquiries, TikTok for storytelling
TikTok's short video format turned out to be ideal for the awareness goal — showing the product in an interior, explaining «how this even works», and creating desire. Meta took on retargeting and enquiries. Not showing the same thing on every channel, but splitting by function.
High-frequency retargeting for a long buying cycle
A hidden door is an expensive, hard-to-find purchase, and the decision matures over weeks, sometimes months. So users who had contact with the brand were retargeted at a high repeat-impression frequency — so the brand stays top of mind until the decision stage. In a niche of rare, expensive purchases this isn't «spam» — it's a tool for working with the real buying cycle.
The numbers for the period
When they came back with a real problem, we resolved the bans, diversified the channels (Meta + TikTok — as insurance), focused on awareness for a little-known product and on high-frequency retargeting for a long buying cycle. This is the framework for advertising an expensive, hard-to-find product.
